Museum for the Ortler Region (owned by the Knoll family)

A place that counters forgotten roots and reminds you of the great pioneers in this region. Themes: Sulden one hundred years ago, the 1st World War and minerals. In the Sulden primary school.


Messner Mountain Museum Ortles

Located underground, the museum of extreme mountain climber “Reinhold Messner” is dedicated to the topic of ice. You will see the world’s largest collection of Ortler images, marvel at ice equipment from two centuries and gain insight into the power of nature (avalanches).


naturatrafoi

The National Park House “naturatrafoi” is located in the middle of the Stilfserjoch National Park in Trafoi, directly on the Stilfserjochstrasse. The in-house exhibit is dedicated to the topic of “Life on the Edge”.


Aquaprad

Insights into life in water are provided in a vivid way.


Marienberg Monastery

The highest Benedictine monastery in Europe.


Glurns

With 871 residents, Glurns in one of the smallest cities in the Alps. Its completely preserved city walls, which divide the city into a so-called inner and outer city are a special feature of the city. Glurns is one of the eight cities in South Tyrol and the only city in the Vinschgau region.


Churburg Castle

One of the mightiest and best preserved fortresses in South Tyrol.


Juval Castle near Naturns

The residence of Reinhold Messner since 1983, this fortress offers visitors interesting insight into his Tibetan adventures.


Merano

You can comfortably reach the spa town from Spondinig in 1.5 hours with the Vinschgau Railway. In addition to the beautiful Passer Promenade, you will also find excellent shopping possibilities in the arcades.
