Alpine skiing
Whether with the ski bus that stops directly in front of the hotel or in a 5 minute walk, you'll soon be at the cableway valley station that will take you to skiing pleasure in Sulden. 40 km of slopes, 1 cable car, 6 chair lifts and 3 ski lifts guarantee pure skiing fun in Sulden am Ortler, the special high alpine skiing paradise in the Stilfserjoch National Park.
High altitude cross-country trail (1,850 – 1,940 m)
Below the hotel (100 m) you will find the 7.5 km natural cross-country skiing trail for traditional cross-country skiing, skating and demanding training. This trail is perfectly prepared from early December through the end of April (depending on snow conditions). The daily/weekly pass can be obtained directly at the hotel's reception desk.
Deep snow adventures
Do not pass up the appeal of powder snow or firn. Guided snowshoe tours (Sulden Alpine School) through regions with deep snow reveal a world of untouched winter landscapes to you.
Sledding
Whether during the day or at night, whether romantic or adventurous, sledding is popular among both young and old. The sled run (section of the Kanzel cableway connection) is illuminated Mon/Wed/Fri from 6:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Snowshoe hikes
The ideal alternative to a day of skiing and also suitable for anyone – even children – without prior knowledge or special equipment (snowshoe rental in the hotel). Our weekly program includes a snowshoe hike (free of charge) with our certified mountain guide Peter.
Day of skiing
Ski every Monday with the boss, Christian, who has been a nationally certified skiing and snowboarding instructor for many years and thus has extensive professional knowledge. We'll start behind Cafe Ilse, ski over the trail to Langenstein, then to the Kanzel, and then over the connecting slope to the Madritsch ski region, where we will end the morning with a glass of wine.
